Introduction: Returns first point of given linestring.

Format: ST_StartPoint(geom: Geometry)

Example:

SELECT ST_StartPoint(ST_GeomFromText('LINESTRING(100 150,50 60, 70 80, 160 170)'))

Output:

POINT(100 150)
